Scope of Services

Each Case Information Statement includes:

  • Preparation of one (1) Case Information Statement using the firm’s preferred CIS software.
  • Review of financial documentation reasonably necessary to complete the CIS, including income, asset, and liability documentation.
  • Client communications (including emails, calls, and follow-ups, totaling up to two (2) hours of actual time spent) for information gathering.
  • Drafting and completion of the CIS for attorney review
  • Redaction of Social Security numbers, PINs, EINs, and account numbers from financial documentation exhibits
  • One (1) round of standard attorney revision. Additional or substantial revisions resulting from new or updated information may incur additional fees.
  • Quality check to ensure the Case Information Statement with exhibits is compatible with JEDS filing

Final Product:

PDF of the completed Case Information Statement with exhibits, formatted and compatible for JEDS filing.

Billing Support:

A detailed summary of time and tasks performed by CVPS will be provided with each completed CIS for the firm’s internal billing and client invoicing purposes.

Pricing:

$495 for 1 Case Information Statement
$2,250 for 5 Case Information Statements ($450 per CIS)
$4,200 for 10 Case Information Statements ($420 per CIS)

Additional Services:

  • JEDS Filing (includes obtaining client’s electronic signature): $60 per CIS (Firm is still responsible for sending out courtesy copies)
  • Additional revisions: Billed in 6-minute increments ($10 per increment)
  • Use of CVPS Family Law Software: $80 per package

Terms:

  • CIS packages must be used within 6 months of purchase. Unused Case Information Statements will expire after this period unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Payment is due upfront for all CIS packages
  • Services are limited to the preparation of the CIS only. No legal advice is provided directly to the end Client.
  • Final review and filing responsibility remains with the Firm unless CVPS services are separately retained for filing
  • Standard turnaround time is seven (7) business days from receipt of all required documents and completion of conflict check, including:
    • CVPS Firm CIS Request Sheet
    • Completed CIS form
    • Supporting financial documentation
  • Delays in response or incomplete documentation may impact turnaround time
